One of our great joys as a church is “going places”. These places have included Mexico, Canada, Turkey, France, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Central African Republic, Chad, Morocco and China .
Our purposes in going have varied from simple encouragement of workers to hands on building projects. Building projects have included church renovations, dormitory construction for Bible and Christian Schools, earthquake cleanup, vehicle painting and home building. In some situations we have helped in the beginning/planting of new churches.
Missions is a vital part of our church vision and we are committed to going as opportunities arise. We want to use our skills as well as giving to on going needs of both missionary and national leaders.
Every other calendar year our youth (grades 10-12) are encouraged to participate in an international mission trip. Adults are invited to go on teams designed to utilize their expertise. |
